Brother Phil Day of Fleet Circle - 80 years an Altar boy
Phil Day has had a busy time recently, not too easy when you are 90! Three years ago in these pages we reported that Phil had achieved 80 years as an altar server and then in October 2017 he celebrated his 90th birthday, the event being marked by Fleet Circle with the presentation of a cake at their Ladies Night. Now he is in the news again with the presentation, by Director Roger Lillie, of a 40 year Scroll in recognition of his service to the Catenian Association and Fleet Circle in particular, during which time he served as President on three occasions and as Provincial Councillor and Membership Officer.
Phil is seen with his wife, Anna, flanked by Provincial Director Roger to his left and Provincial President Peter Daniels to the right.
